FOUNDER & CEO
Latarika Young is a visionary leader with a passion for making technology accessible and empowering for all. With a background in computer science and an MBA, Latarika blends technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive meaningful impact. She has spent over two decades leading global teams, optimizing processes, and championing initiatives that strengthen quality, compliance, and customer experience.
Beyond her professional work, Latarika is deeply committed to service and is an active board member of several organizations in her community.
As the founder and CEO of K. North, Latarika is dedicated to creating safe, welcoming spaces where seniors can confidently navigate everyday technology. Her dedication to inclusivity, lifelong learning, and human connection shapes every aspect of her work, ensuring technology serves people, not the other way around.

Chief Experience Architect (CEA)
Neilson Navarrete is a skilled industrial designer with over 20 years of experience making technology easier to use. As a patent-holding design expert, he has helped create products that improve accessibility, simplify interactions, and enhance everyday experiences.
Throughout his career, Neilson has worked with global teams to design solutions that feel natural and effortless. His focus on human-centered design ensures technology works for people—not the other way around.
As Chief Experience Architect at K. North, Neilson is dedicated to making smart technology simple, approachable, and empowering for seniors. His passion for thoughtful design helps people stay connected and confident in a digital world.
KEVIN SCHOEDINGER
Chief Technology Officer & Senior Connector, K. North
Kevin Schoedinger is a technology leader and innovator with decades of experience making complex technology easier to use. Holding more than 50 patents, he has developed solutions that blend cutting-edge design with real-world impact.
At the heart of Kevin’s work is a belief in the power of people helping people. Through mentoring high school students, he brings the next generation of Digital Dashers to K. North – young leaders who help older adults build confidence with technology. This intergenerational approach is transforming how communities learn, connect, and care for one another.
As Chief Technology Officer and Senior Connector at K. North, Kevin works alongside his friend and partner, CEO Latarika Young, to foster partnerships, grow the Digital Dashers program, and develop content that supports seniors. His passion for innovation ensures that technology and learning tools work for everyone – helping people stay connected, independent, and empowered in today’s world.
K. North Digital Dashers
Digital Dashers serve as a trusted guide for older adults as they navigate everyday technology. They will work one-on-one or in small group settings to provide hands-on help with tasks.
Manuel Gonzalez
Digital Dasher
Manuel Gonzalez is a friendly, curious student with a passion for technology, design, and helping others. As a high school senior, he brings a creative mindset and a hunger to learn everything he does.
At K. North, Manny helps older adults feel more confident using their smartphones and the Kroger app. As a bilingual team member, he plays an important role in supporting Hispanic older adults and building stronger community connections.
Manny also interned with SRC of Lexington, where he helped explore safer and faster ways to train workers using new tools like JigSpace and Apple Vision Pro. His communication skills and leadership have grown along the way—and he’s always ready to take on new challenges.
With plans to study engineering or digital design in college, Manny is already making an impact. His mix of curiosity, kindness, and technical skill makes him a valuable part of the K. North team.
Vivian Green
Digital Dasher
Vivian Green is a technology leader with a passion for designing intuitive, human-centered tools that make a real difference. As a high school senior studying both graphic design and software development, she brings a rare blend of creative thinking and technical skill to every project.
Vivian is the lead student developer behind EMMA, K. North’s AI-powered assistant for older adults. Introduced to K. North through her school and mentor Kevin Schoedinger, her work reflects a deep commitment to accessibility and building bridges between generations.
Outside of K. North, Vivian enjoys soccer, leads with her voice in student initiatives, and stays curious about how technology can empower people of all ages. Her vision continues to shape the future of EMMA – an AI tool to help people stay safe from scams.
Guilain Kashira
Digital Dasher
Guilain is an engineering student and natural problem-solver with a passion for building things, exploring technology, and helping others. Whether on the soccer field, in the classroom, or in the community, he brings curiosity and determination to everything he does.
At K. North, Guilain is always ready to lend a hand—especially with older adults, where communication and patience are key. His willingness to step out of his comfort zone and connect with people of different backgrounds and ages highlights both his leadership and his empathy.
Guilain’s leadership experience includes serving as a flight commander in JROTC, where he learned to lead under pressure and find quick, effective solutions. These skills continue to shape him as he grows his technical and communication abilities.
With plans to study mechanical and robotics engineering in college, Guilain is building the mindset and skills that will carry him into the future. His mix of problem-solving, taking initiative, and patience makes him a valuable part of the K. North team.
Arnav Palle
Digital Dasher
Arnav Palle is an engineering student who loves technology and helping others. Always curious, he enjoys exploring new ideas and finding ways to make life easier for the people around him.
At K. North, Arnav brings energy and empathy to every pop-up and community event. He continues to learn, grow, and use his skills to make a real impact in the community.
While studying electrical engineering, Arnav is strengthening his technical abilities and teamwork – qualities that make him a valued member of the K. North team.
MIA THOR
Digital Dasher
Mia Thor is a star student finishing middle school, where she excels in her studies, loves to learn, and plays volleyball. Thoughtful and patient by nature, she brings kindness and curiosity to every interaction.
Mia will be learning from her fellow Digital Dashers and growing into a strong young mentor.
K. North is proud to have Mia as part of the team, and even prouder of her desire to make a difference with the older generation.
