What is K. North?

I have known Tari most of her life. I’ve been blessed to watch her grow and develop into the professional woman she has become. Although Tari is highly successful, she is very considerate of those in my generation who did not cut our teeth on computers and laptops as she did. I was blessed to pastor a growing church for the past 38 years. Tari led our IT ministry. She and her team extended my professional life by assuring that we operated at a high level of technological expertise in spite of my glaring weaknesses in the field. The Covid pandemic forced all of us to turn to technology in order to survive. Because of Tari and her team we did not have to pivot. We merely enhanced and expanded what her team had already led us to do, allowing us to not only survive but also thrive. Tari has taught me so much about the benefits of being computer literate. Her patience and compassion allow her to navigate a world of dinosaurs as we necessarily move into our technologically advanced future. I was blessed to marry into Tari’s family. You’ll be blessed to invite her into yours.

I met Latarika Young at a community meeting that we both are members. Since I did not grow up with computers and have had to learn to use them, they often are confusing, intimidating and very complex to me. I have to admit at times even scary! My husband and I had moved his office printer to our home ( it worked there ) but would not work in our home. We had several technicians come fix it only to work until they were out of the door. I asked Latarika if she would come look at it when we were at a meeting one day. That very weekend she appeared at our home. She was kind, thoughtful, made us not feel stupid, and fixed the printer. She even taught us how to print from our phones! Her talented technical skills and especially her calm reassuring demeanor is just what anxious seniors like we needed. I highly recommend her services to a much needed group of eager seniors that want to not be threatened by a machine!
